Core 2 duo in dell dimension 4300?

i didn't know where to post this so soz...

Unsigned, even on no rendering venues mode runs like CRAP on my dimension 4300  , i have been searching for hours on end and cannot find out if i can use a core 2 duo in mine. Here are my specs

512 mb 133mhz ram
2x 80gb hdd's
256 VRam (nvidia geforce 6200)

I'm... not surprised.  You have less than a gig of RAM?  Windows alone takes nearly that much.  I'd upgrade that first if you want to do anything other than word processing on it.  However, the next Unsigned will have a 2D mode that should run okay on that (yknow, maybe.  I haven't had less than 2GB RAM in over 4 years)
