Wireless Controllers

Hi There,

I'm completely new to unsigned but am going to buy a rockband set and would like to avoid having to replace my xbox 360 that randomly locks up.

I've looked around and haven't seen anywhere a topic on 'what hardware works with unsigned'
'plug your controllers in and make sure you have drivers' is what I find, well this insinuates that the controller is wired.

I have a Xbox wireless receiver for my computer, and would like to buy rockband 2 special edition to get the drums, guitar and mic at a discounted rate, however these controllers (minus mic) are wireless.

I've seen on another post that x person uses a wireless guitar, but do wireless drums work aswell? I would just like to confirm before buying the set. Thank you very much for your time and reply.
